At the time of its release, the MVP AOI are the latest and most advanced systems available for automatically inspecting printed circuit boards, top or bottom side based on the user's CAD data. Extremely low false reject and false accept rates are accomplished while achieving 100% inspection at production line speed.
 
System can inspect SMT components pre-or post solder for presence / absence and placement verification (x,y,and theta ) polarity, solder fillet, bridging, solder opens, insufficient fillets, excess solder, and lifted leads for a variety of component types including: QFP's, SOICs, SOTs, MELFs, Diodes, chips resistors and capacitors, including 10 mil fine pitch and 0402s.  
 
Through-hole components pre-or post solder and wave for presence / absence, bent, under pins, solder presence, and bridging. Topside inspection also includes IC orientation and polarity. including 10 mil fine pitch and 0402s.
Board dimensions: 3 in. to 18 in.
